What I See

There has to be more to him
than what I see in his eyes
cause I see in his eyes
is sorrow and sad goodbyes
but these are lies
cause when I look in his eyes I see his heart
and a man’s heart never tells lies
I know these are lies
cause on his face I see love
and love lifts you up
it doesn’t bring you down
it gives you wings so you can fly
in that wide open sky
above

so where is the sorrow in love

Is it love lost?

Oh! I see the lie
cause love lost is nothing but a sad goodbye

Changing Garden

still waters run deep in the garden that was once a child
in the water an illuminating reflection
twisted and turned from meek and mild
in the garden that was once filled seeds
now reflects blossoming flowers
while other garden dark and dormant
while away the hours
in the spring gardens blossom
in the winter gardens fall
but the garden that was once a child
is the most beautiful garden of all

Pain

Why is it that I always feel no one cares
When I’m all alone and no ones there
My hear yearns for attention and I’m hurting inside
When I’m consumed with stress there’s no one by my side
I’m forever scolded by cruelty’s mark
I’m sick to my stomach cause I buried my heart in the dark
